SUITABILITY OF FACILITIES  St Augustine's has excellent modern facilities suitable for church and community use. They may be hired by groups or individuals, on a regular basis or for a single event.  

DISABLED ACCESS St Augustine's is very suitable for wheelchair access.  The main entrance is level with the outside.  There is a fully equipped accessible toilet.  There is a ramp into the main church.

ALCOHOL  Please note that, in general, there is a 'no alcohol' policy.  No alcohol may be sold or served liberally on church premises.  Any request for serving alcohol (eg for a toast at a wedding) must be made to the Churchwardens before the event.


The MAIN KITCHEN is fitted with stainless steel units, double sink, dishwasher, microwave, dual fuel oven, fridge freezer and instant hot water heater. Its hatches open into both the main church and the lounge.

The MAIN CHURCH has 240 metal-framed stackable oak chairs and underfloor heating.  There is a grand piano, and the chancel is big enough to seat a large choir.

The CLOAKROOM is reached from the passage between the lounge and the main church area, opposite the main kitchen. There are separate male, female and accessible toilets, and baby-changing facilities.
